Why does God allow suffering and evil?

Why does God allow suffering and evil, in order to answer any question about the mind of God? We have to understand that his way of thinking is not our way of thinking. His ways are not our ways. Until we can begin to grasp that concept it will always allude us why does God allows the things he does.

When God created man, he gave him intellect far above any creature. Suppose you observe the nature of men and the beast of the field. Everything on the planet has a design to it. It follows that design is given. Everything on this planet obeys the will of God and nothing is able to violate the will of God except man. God gave man free will which allows man to choose to do good in the sight of God or do evil.

In the beginning Adam (Adam is not a name but in the original language means man). Adam has to choose to obey God's command. Adam did not, regardless of what Eve (mother of all living) had done. It was Adam’s responsibility to hold the line and obey God. This was the first wicked act.

To me, it is obvious that God did not want man to be a pre-programmed worshiper of him. He built men autonomously therefore he allows his creation to do what he created it to do. He allows the hearts of men to choose to be wicked.

The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?

This brings about suffering not at the hands of God but at the hands of men.

Have you read the account about Job? What do you see when God answers Job? God never tells Job why his life was happening the way that it was. The suffering there was caused by the wicked one trying to prove God wrong.

It is the duty of man to obey God.

Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.

Now you have a choice to make after reading this. It is inescapable. You have to choose to obey God or not and live in wickedness.

God sent his son Jesus to cover our wickedness. Learn what that does for every soul that believes that Jesus is the son of God and he died on the cross according to the scriptures. He arose again on the third day according to the scripts.
